New Burlap Zipper Pouches in Stock Now

After a week off earlier this month, I'm back at my sewing machine creating a bunch of new items for the Lina and Vi Etsy shop this month. I'm happy to report that I'm feeling refreshed and inspired with the summer season and warmer weather upon us here in Michigan. Of course, a week off means that many things built up while I was out, and I'm finally feeling caught up and ready to tackle the next to-dos on my list this week. Hooray!

This week I worked on five new small 4" by 6" burlap zipper pouches each with a different style and color of patterned lining fabric. They are super cute, and now you can purchase a set of two in addition to a set of three or a single pouch.

I also sewed up a new larger zipper pouch with a flat, faux leather cream bottom. The interior of this bag features a high-quality white cotton fabric with shimmery gold thatched print. I fell in love with this fabric when I found it in the remnants pile a couple of weeks ago. I love that the color is neutral but it is still fun with a layer of sophistication. I have a little bit extra, and I'm thinking that I may be embarking on some selfish-sewing soon to use it up for something around my home or my wardrobe!

We're having fantastic weather this weekend here in Michigan, and I'm torn whether to stay outside or head inside to my sewing room. I think I may just need to bring the sewing outside to my patio and have the best of both worlds. I'm not sure what my neighbors would think hearing a sewing machine outside, but hey, why not, right?

I hope you're enjoying your weekend! Remember to visit our Etsy shop to see details on these items and to grab a few before we run out again.

Enjoy!
Erica
